Toronto, Canada, August 25, 2005 -

ACD/Labs is pleased to announce that it has established a collaboration with SciTegic, the leader in data pipelining and workflow tools. ACD/Labs has joined SciTegic's independent software vendor (ISV) partner program to provide software compatibility between their product lines. Joint customers will be able to access ACD/Labs' PhysChem and Nomenclature batch software from within SciTegic's Pipeline Pilot™ framework, leading to more efficient and repeatable discovery processes.

ACD/Labs' PhysChem and Nomenclature batch modules have been adopted as the standard tools for many chemical and pharmaceutical companies around the world (http://www.acdlabs.com/publish/media_pr.php). Integrating ACD/Labs' solutions into the SciTegic Pipeline Pilot framework meshes together the best-in-breed solutions available in the marketplace.

"Many of our customers find the tools from ACD/Labs invaluable," said Mathew Hahn, Ph.D., vice president and general manager of SciTegic. "We are delighted that our ISV program is facilitating the development of integrated solutions that improve the breadth of functionality available through Pipeline Pilot."

Antony Williams, VP and Chief Science Officer for ACD/Labs, furthers, "Pipeline Pilot has become one of the keystone informatics tools for workflow management. Connecting our PhysChem and Nomenclature batch prediction modules into Pipeline Pilot will facilitate ease of deployment and informatics management for many of our customers, and ACD/Labs is pleased to provide our customers with higher levels of integration."

Further information about ACD/Labs' PhysChem software solutions can be found at http://www.acdlabs.com/products/phys_chem_lab/ and Nomenclature software solutions can be found at http://www.acdlabs.com/products/name_lab/.
